The goal of Ozanam Inn is to offer aid and comfort to the poor and needy in our community by providing basic human needs such as; food, shelter and clothing. This field trip is not for everyone but it is a great experience for our children to practically help the homeless and touch those in need.
We will be volunteering during lunch time where older children will be able to serve hot meals and younger children will be able to serve cups of water. We will also learn more about the functions of Ozanam Inn and lastly pass out snack bags.
If you've already volunteered here, wait a week to sign up to give new members a chance to volunteer.
Please fill 15 snack size zip lock bags per attendee (including adults) with hard candy, jerky, or packs of peanut butter or cheese crackers to pass out to residents after lunch.
There is a max of 20 persons total (adults and students) and all children must be at least 5 years old. No babies are allowed. Because of the limited number of volunteers, only one adult per family is allowed. Please arrive 15 minutes early to allow time to park and assist with lunch set-up.
