Sharing Shakespeare with a new generation

In January of each year the Festival stages a full-length professional production of one of Shakespeare’s plays, performed on Tulane’s campus as a field trip opportunity for middle and high school students. These performances are often the only opportunity students have to see live professional theatre and, more often, their first live Shakespearean performance.

Tickets are only $10 per student, and one free chaperone ticket is provided for every fifteen students. Additional chaperones pay only $10.

“Something wicked this way comes.”

In a country torn by war, Macbeth and his steadfast wife execute a ruthless plan that launches a string of murders. But fate is an unwavering force in this world of witches and prophecy. Director Jessica Podewell brings a stalwart and engaging concept to this revered tragedy.

Tickets must be purchased early December, so you have until the end of November to reserve your spot.
